I love candy

During the school year, there were times when there was too much homework, and sometimes too many projects.  But this is only the beginning.  If anyone complained about this factor, then from the start of the vacation, they will have to complain until they are restless.

From the beginning of the vacation, my schedule is busier than school-days.  From 9 in the morning, until 11 night, I have to study.  Not only this is at one hakwon but it’s at 3 different ones.  The courses I have to study for next year are SAT Math II, SAT Chemistry, SAT I , Pre Calculus, US History, and SAT French.  In my opinion, the most important subject students have to take this summer is SAT because as we move onto 11th grade, the test dates are approaching.

Really, to me, there seems no hope nor fun in this summer vacation due to studying, and lack of free time.

Currently, the weather has been switching madly.  One day it’s rainy, and other day is deadly hot.  I don’t know about other people, but whenever the weather changes, my mood swings back and forth but grumpy to happy.  A perfect way to seem to have duality in myself.  The importance and independent the weather is to my life is incredible.  On the day when the weather is dark, rainy, and gloomy, my characteristics and reactions become grumpy and stiff.  Which makes people hard to approach me.

I love to socialize with people and be in many crowds to talk and play.  But when the weather is bad, it depresses my mood, and people don’t seem to enjoy their time when someone is grumpy.  But when the weather is good, sunny, then the people and as well as myself like to play and talk with each other.  Anything we say to each other is funny, and everyone laughs like crazy.  If I think about it, whenever I think of an amusing, memorable, memory, it is usually on the days when the weather is fabulous.  Not many “good” memories I have are on the days when the weather is bad.

Why does the weather make people’s mood go happy?  Well, that’s one question I would like to study about.  But in my point of view, the one reason are the endorphins in our body.  When we fall in love, endorphins are released, and energy is used, which makes are body even more fit, and in some cases, loses weight as well.  I believe that the weather is something like love.

During my high-school year, I met and lost a lot of friends. Friends are hard to make, but easy to break, it’s either give or take.  By one little mistake, you can lose a friend, rather he/she was close to you.  Having a friend that takes care of you, that worries about you, that shares secrets with you, that has nothing ashamed of you, and that enjoys the time that their with you is very rare.
This year, I met a really good friend that actually had all these factors with him.  The first time I met him was in 8th grade.  He was a boy that seemed a little old for his age, liked to play a lot, and enjoyed every part of his life.  We became a little close in 8th grade, as we started to play together.  But, by summer, we didn’t contact each other even once, and this made him and I far apart.  However, in 9th grade, things started to change.  I started spending time with him even more, and got really close to him.  But that was it for that year.  The change happened in 10th grade.  though I couldn’t spend a lot of time with him, I shared all of my secrets.

This is a description of who this friend is.
- We share all the deep feelings about any situation that happens within each other.
- Whenever I’m walking on the side walk, he puts me inside of the sidewalk, saying that it’s dangerous for a girl to walk outside.
- We call each other at least once a day.
- We have a lot of same classes so we almost always sit next to each other.
- When we have homework to do, we help each other.
- When I have a problem, or I’m in trouble, he comes for me where ever I am.
- If I need counseling because of a boy, or a girl problem, then he would love to spend time with me.
- Whenever I call him, he comes where I am even if it’s for a short amount of time.
- He gives me advices when I have problems and be truthful whenever I act a little differently than before.
- We like to share whatever it is with each other.
- When we need a hug (the days that we feel gloomy and sad), we give each other one.
- We tell each other the only TRUTH.
- HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME.

Maybe some people might say that they have a true friend, but does the friend have all the factors that my best friend has? I doubt so….
Recently, I heard something that shocked me, and made me gloomy and sad for the entire day.  While I was thinking of how emotional I got when I heard that, I realized how important he was to my life, and still is.

Would lying be valuable in some situations?

What does lie mean?  It’s a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement, especially with the intention to deceive others, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, protect someone’s feelings or to avoid a punishment. (Wikipedia)

But sometimes, people use the term “lie” because from time to time, there are situations that it is better off not knowing the truth.  However, in my opinion, lying becomes a problem at the end no matter what.  One should not lie about anything if their goal is to keep the relationship stable.  However, even though one tells the truth to another, and the relationship does not work out, then that proves that the relationship wasn’t real.  One side was not taking the relationship seriously.  This suits for either love or friendship.  At teenage, relationship becomes a very important factor in life.  In order to succeed in this, one should be truthful.  But one has to keep in mind that there is no “successful” relationship.  In every relationship, there are ups and downs.

Today, there are many ways people stay in contact with other people.  Technology improved so much from the old days that cellphones and computers have become a need to people in order to stay in contact.  It is very rare to find someone without a computer and a cellphone.

All of the above cellphones have one thing in common.  These are currently the most popular cellphones, and in my opinion, the reason is that famous actors or actrices shoot commercials with these cellphones.  Thus, I think people get the idea that they want the same phone as the actors/actrices who commerces these phones.

As cellphones became a need in society, the idea of getting a better cellphone every year has been common.  Therefore, using this time period, the companies design new designs that will attract the people’s eyes and fame.  Also, they use famous people to make the cellphone well known to the outside world.

When I was seeking for a poem that can influence the way people love, I found the most touching and reflective ways of love that I do.

“I know you’ll only hurt me
Yet, I still keep running back.”

One will know that once they start to fall in love, there will be pain received from it as well.  But if someone falls in love, getting pain wouldn’t feel like anything compared to not receiving any love.  The pain that is received when falling in love is tremendous, especially at the end.  But love is adventure, and risking your pain for love, to me, is a good idea.  Sometimes, these pains would be long-lasting, and may affect different factors of life.  In movies, the lives are affected dramatically, where people commits suicide and other bad actions to end the pain.  This is how powerful love is.  Love can cure the love pain received from the former one.  Love is the cure for pain.  But one has to let go of the idea that love is everything in their life.  One could dream, hope, fall for love, but as a person becomes more dependent on love, the more one would receive pain.

To be able to find true love and the soul-mate, the lovers should not have as much hopes towards the other because people always makes mistakes, and once that is made, the amount of hope they had in each other would decrease.  The affect of love comes when you least expect it.  Therefore, when hopes and dreams are all thrown apart, and you have absolutely no idea of the hopes you have towards the other, then you’ll understand if you truly love him/her.

- This song shows how the one time love has come to her, and she wants the man to believe in her. Kelly Clarkson, though at a young age she sang this song, it brought a lot of emotions into it, which seemed to me to interest more people into this song and grab the attentions.

- The emotions and mood of the song seems desperate but sad, because to me, there seems to be bad ending to the relationship of the characters in the song.

- Love can come once, and even though it came at once, it can last a lifetime.  This song includes a very dramatic but emotional feeling and mood to the song.  Yes, Celine Dion is one of the most renowned singers, but her ability to put all that emotion into the song amazes me as well.

- the end of this song, if I may guess, seems to me bad as well.  The melody, at first gives the impression of a very sad song, and some death involved as well.

Love Actually

What do these movies have in common?  LOVE and ROMANCE

But my question here would be, How far are these movies compared to our daily lives?

It is probably hard for one to imagine that life in movies aren’t going to happen in my life.  Well in my opinion, that is CORRECT. Not only is it hard to find a man as perfect as in the movies, but it is hard for events that man do, to happen in daily lives.  First of all, all of the events shown in these movies needs a lot of money and time to be accomplished.  But let’s imagine a man, a businessman.  Would he have the time and enough money to do all the romantic things to the woman he loves?  It would be rarely.  People do not have both.  It’s only one thing that each person has, since God is fair.

Let’s think of the looks of the characters in the movie.  They are amazingly HOT and apparently, have both time and money.  This would be rare, in REAL LIFE.  But having money, time, and the looks is very rare in our lives.  How many people would there be as an answer if we were suddenly given a question that asks, “WHO IS THERE THAT HAS MONEY, TIME, AND LOOKS?” Probably less than 2 (and i don’t even know the answers to them).  This shows how romantic movies in general are very different and hard to be accomplished in real life.

And even though this may be accomplished, it would be very rare, and I would really like to hear from both of the sides (man and woman).

Love? Friendship? Education? Passion?  What all of these words have in common is “romance.”  The four factors, love, friendship, education, and passion is the most important thing in life.  But is it possible to attain all of the four factors above?  My answer to this would be NO.

However, up to a point, one may feel to have accomplished all of the four criterias.  This completion may not be a 100%, but it will probably be felt a little by him/her.  But other than these four things that one feels romantism from, there is one other thing.  MONEY.  By using money, one can feel completion.  For example, buying things that one wanted.  Actually, if the man has money, then he will probably buy every single thing that the woman demands without much problem.

I thought about what money could do me good, with both relationship and my desires.

1. going on vacations whereever, and whenever I want

2. receiving the most expensive ring

3. Getting married in a very modernized, and expensive place.

4. Once I get married, getting the most beautiful house.

5. giving my children the best education, and life possible

6. retiring at a young age, and traveling around the world.

But the main question I truly want to ask myself is……….. would I be HAPPY if these are the ONLY things I receive from money?

As the Boys over Flowers ended, it ended with the male main character(JunPyo) asking the girl (JanDi) to marry him.  Here my question is would it be really ideal to marry someone when they are about 23 years old.  Many of the older married people declared that getting married at a young age, would rather make the relationship fall apart.  Maybe it’s because its a drama, and dramas are always so dramatic, happy ending, and unrealistic.  A LIFE THAT EVERYONE DREAMS OF.  When I was young, and still now, I would love to live a happy ending life, no matter what the consequences I get before to accomplish my goal.  Still today, my goal is to live a happy ending plus romantic life.

Marrying someone you love, could be the best thing in your life that could happen.  But risking your dreams and goals other than love would be doing something stupid.  Unless, the partner you want to marry understands the idea of what you want to do, and will wait for you without meeting anyone else would give even more happiness.  It is rare, for a man to wait for his woman to finish education, and other wants of accomplishments.  But if he says that he can’t wait for her that long, and decides to end, or force the marriage, then that proves that he did not LOVE her as she is right now.  Also, its showing that he does not respect her either.
